Week 4B: Defining YOUR Target Market

My Target Audience

About "A Little Press & No Stress"

My business, A Little Press & No Stress" is designed to provide women with press on nails that easy, time efficient, and stylish for there every day needs. Many people do not have time to go to the nail salon and/or do not want to spend so much money on getting a new set of nails. With my brand, women will be able to get there nails delivered to them in a timely manner at a great price and quality. I wanted to start this business because I myself struggle sometimes to make it to the nail salon because I have so many things going on in my life. Sometimes I find myself at CVS looking for press ons that will fulfill my wants and needs. It's hard to find elaborate design in different shapes and lengths when you are looking at the drug store so I feel that my brand will be easy to access and manageable to buy in bulk if consumers wanted to do so.

Target Consumer

The target consumer for my press on nails can range from any age because there are so many different lifestyles no matter how young or old you are. I also would strive to have a variety of different designs that are subtle and others that are outgoing. Having the wide variety of designs will entice many different personalities and attract more consumers. Personally I feel like the popular age for using press ons currently is around 18-30 because they have become so increasingly useful for many people. I want to make sure that my brand has great quality and is inclusive for all types of women.

Business Expansion

I think that demographically, my business will thrive locally. I think that more and more peopler striving to support local businesses in their areas at the moment and this will help me promote my own. Although I will offer shipping services throughout, starting my own brand will take some time to get my name out there and add good quality consumer feedback as well. Social media will play a major role in this advancement of the brand as I will need to use many platforms to make it known. My goal is that with a successful target audience and social media presence, my brand will expand beyond the local area within a year or two.

Week 12A: Using Business Specific Online Tools

In researching the available tools this week, I found that there are various amounts of sources in which one has the ability to promote their business. I believe that in our current times, using online collaboration tools has become increasingly popular amongst the business world as so many people are participating remotely. An example of this could be through Microsoft Teams in which there are tools provided in the software that allow you to communicate and take the proper steps in order to enhance the project at hand. For social networking, I looked into what Hivebrite had to offer as it allowed for people to share their knowledge, collaborate, get feedback, and enhance opportunities. With a well organized platform like this, business owners and professionals will be able to efficiently make the neccessary adaptions to successfully  grow their business and brand.  I think that google offers so many tools that people tend to miss out on simply because they did not know that t...

Week 4A: Defining Target Markets

Subway v. Hungry Bear Deli Subway  Subway has been a popular sandwich chain for as long as I can remember. I was actually as major consumer of the sandwiches growing up and enjoyed eating their food frequently. Subway has major marketing attempts such as using commercials and ads in order to promote their company. Recently, subway has also reached out to professional athletes as a source of promotion in order to amplify their business. For awhile, Subway went through a spell in which their food was questioned and determined as low quality compared to other sandwich shops in the food industry. They have made efforts to revamp their brand and bring a new message to the foods that they are serving.      Visiting the Subway website immediately brings a breath of fresh air if you are a previous consumer of theirs. There are promotions that stroll across the screen as soon as you get to the site in attempts to get the consumer engaged in what they are offering. ...

Week 14: Social Media Tools

Social Media Management  There are many tools that are useful when trying to maintain multiple different social media platforms. With the many different social media platforms, it can be important to ensure that each ground is covered to reach each person. I think that there are several different social media softwares that will allow one to be the most successful in their own perspective.  "Hootsuite" This system is designed to make using social media easier in many dimensions. This social media organizer has features such as scheduling when to publish, measure your performance, post directly from the app, build fans, track trends, etc. This system does offer a 30 day trial in which you can determine if you would like to move forward with their services starting at $49 a month.  "Loomly" This system also for some of the similar features as mentioned in regards to the "Hootsuite" application. Loomly will allow you to schedule, collaborate, and become inspi...
