Week 12A: Using Business Specific Online Tools

In researching the available tools this week, I found that there are various amounts of sources in which one has the ability to promote their business. I believe that in our current times, using online collaboration tools has become increasingly popular amongst the business world as so many people are participating remotely. An example of this could be through Microsoft Teams in which there are tools provided in the software that allow you to communicate and take the proper steps in order to enhance the project at hand. For social networking, I looked into what Hivebrite had to offer as it allowed for people to share their knowledge, collaborate, get feedback, and enhance opportunities. With a well organized platform like this, business owners and professionals will be able to efficiently make the neccessary adaptions to successfully  grow their business and brand. 

I think that google offers so many tools that people tend to miss out on simply because they did not know that they exist. Google is a platform that many should take advantage of due to the fact that each branch can offer you something different in order to expand your horizons. I think that some of the important apps for growing the business are ones that other people can publicly view because you re not only to add and create your own information, you are also able to view things as everyone else would see them. Knowing information such as where you're located and how others are able to view it is important in making the appropriate changes. 

Overall, I believe that their are so many tools to help one become successful in the business entity. It is up to the individual to take advantage of these tools.

    I've never heard of Hivebrite! I think that's a great potential tool to use in terms of growing your brand. And I have only used Teams for meetings, so I'm interested to see how it can be used for other things (North County Fam)

    I have never heard of Hivebrite either, it sounds like a great platform to not only grow your business but also network and connect with other business owners who might have more experience.

    Adding to the consensus of the group, I have not heard of Hivebrite but my business uses google as well. For all new and upcoming businesses, a strong online platform can make or break you. We live in a digital world and having a digital platform is key to success.

Week 4A: Defining Target Markets

 Subway v. Hungry Bear Deli Subway  Subway has been a popular sandwich chain for as long as I can remember. I was actually as major consumer of the sandwiches growing up and enjoyed eating their food frequently. Subway has major marketing attempts such as using commercials and ads in order to promote their company. Recently, subway has also reached out to professional athletes as a source of promotion in order to amplify their business. For awhile, Subway went through a spell in which their food was questioned and determined as low quality compared to other sandwich shops in the food industry.
